Memory Usage in VM

The service page has information about RAM consumption. This consumption tells you how much memory your virtual machine (VM) consumes in total.

Memory consumption data also includes the cache within the operating system. Each OS uses as much unused operating memory for caching as possible, which is generally a good thing. Depending on the system, this cache is sometimes marked as free or not - but if it is needed, it will be freed. Windows family OS mark this cache as used memory, although this is not exactly true.

The actual RAM consumption for Windows should only be checked inside the system itself.
